1.What is Resource Management?

It is planning to use strategically the resources that the company have, this action allows to take advantage of each one of them correctly, the resources can be tangibles (machinery, furniture, computers) or intangibles ( system-Data, scanners, skills of the people, time, technology) to have highest  efficient and effective development.

2.Mention what is the importance of Resource Management in business.

It is important to know how to use the company's resources correctly, it can have a great positive impact or a negative impact, the way that you use de resources will be the difference, have a good strategic to achievement, it results in:

§  Costs reduction

§  Time reduction

§  Increases productivity

 3.What are the Concepts and Components of Resource Management?

Define them in detailed.

1.       Resource scheduling: designate and program a specific amount of resources, for the realization of a specific activity and in a determined time.

2.        Resource utilization: Amount of resources an employee uses to perform an activity

3.        Resource forecasting: projection the amount of resources that will be used for production or the news projects.

4.       Resource and capacity planning:  use correctly the time and work to be able to deliver orders on time.

5.       Business intelligence and reports: Generate reports with data of the day, in this way the directors can project future results.

 

4.What are the advantages of resource management?

The company can project the risks and opportunities, permit the optimal Utilization of Resources in the less time and cost.

5.What are the skills that every resource manager should have? Explain

each in detail.

-Communication: have communication with all areas, keep informed of what is happening.

- Decision-making: ability to make decisions in the moment, to solve conflicts or obtain best results.

- Teamwork: Knowles to work on team, this action the relation in the company.           

-Conflict resolution: the action of knowing how to solve a problem without harming other areas.

-Projection: Project the results, helps to know what will the results be in based on the evaluated

    I like a lot the resource forecast because this let you know which specific resources you will need to fulfill your project, this could involve persons, money, machines, time etc.
